Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Quotation:
- Coordinate with airlines, consolidators,
and overseas agents for rate procurement.
- Negotiate freight rates and service terms
with carriers and vendors.
- Maintain updated tariff sheets, airline
rates, and surcharge information.
- Analyze market trends and competitor
pricing.
Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries,
shipment updates, and service requests.
- Maintain strong relationships with
customers, airlines, and agents.
- Provide shipment status updates and
resolve customer issues or delays.
- Ensure high levels of customer
satisfaction and service quality.
Export Operations Coordination:
- Coordinate booking arrangements with
airlines and transport vendors.
- Ensure timely preparation and verification
of export documentation including:
- 1. Air Waybill (AWB)
- 2. Commercial Invoice
- 3. Packing List
- 4. Shipping Bill
- 5. Export declarations
- Monitor cargo movement and ensure
compliance with export regulations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and
warehouse teams.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure all export documents comply with
international air freight and customs regulations.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and
filing systems.
- Follow company SOPs and regulatory
requirements.
Internal Coordination:
- Work closely with sales, operations,
finance, and warehouse teams.
- Support sales teams with pricing
strategies and customer solutions.
- Assist in resolving operational and
billing discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply
Chain, Commerce, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in air export
pricing and customer service.
- Knowledge of air freight operations and
export documentation.
- Familiarity with airline pricing
structures and Incoterms.
- Strong communication and negotiation
skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email
communication, and freight forwarding software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage
multiple shipments simultaneously.
